2010 is a special year, this is the year where my youngest sister will bid goodbye to the school grounds. no more pen and paper for our little baby, so i thought i owe her a very special reward for succeeding in her studies. and the idea of a very relaxing and enjoyable trip popped into my mind. Then it hit me.. why not PALAWAN.
with a initial plan crafted, i decide that a 4day and 3night vacation will be perfect.
so as i sit in front of the television, i decided that there is no such thing as preparing early. i need to familiarize myself to the do's and don'ts of the island.
as i browse about Palawan it came as i surprise when i found out there are actually three major option to chose from if you wanted to explore this magnificent tourist spot. Among the three (Puerto Princessa, El Nido and Coron), i opted to pick Coron variably because of three reasons. First becuase there are various landmarks to visit 2. basing on what i read, majority chooses Coron vs Puerto Princessa and lastly considering my current cash on hand i can't afford El Nido, so with out going further Coron it is!
Coron is a first class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 32,243 people in the 6,264 households. The municipality covers part of the Busuanga Island and all the nearby Coron Island. Both islands are part of the Calamian Group of Islands i northern Palawan. The main industries of Coron are fishing and tourism. *
