it was a relief! i was able to survive a 3 consecutive nights duty without any untoward incident. Owing it of course to my very helpful and cooperative patients. Thankfully I was assigned to a benign patient group, who prefers sleeping than being awaken at 12midnight just to ensure that a 4 hour vital signs monitoring order is being implemented. I am equally grateful for my competent and very empathetic colleagues, who understand that my body is just as normal as anyone else, for it also succumbs to the flashy temptation to catch some "Zzzz's", allowing me to recharge my draining energy level. And another thanks for being considerate enough to wake me up before the supervisor catches me doing the deed!
