Upon checking my list of facebook friends, its highly noticeable that about 80% of my closest friends, high school and college acquaintances had embarked themselves to the sacrament of Matrimony. Having the whole day to myself (since timo is at work his 1st day at JP Morgan) i stumbled upon this crazy idea of what if's...
"what if i am going to marry today?" who will be present? where would it be? is it a themed wedding a garden wedding? or will i settle for the traditional church one. So just for fun, I created this pseudo wedding preparation and detailed list, hoping that someday i would be able to compare it to my future real wedding
the informations and details of this instant list are based on my ambitious imagination regarding the absence of financial and time constraints that can hinder the success of this imaginative occasion but ofcourse I will not pushed it to the extremes, i will not create ideas that will actually make this plan so over the top and not to mention quite IMPOSSIBLE that even the A-list PH actors will find it difficult to execute.. i.e Vera Wang Eiffel Tower lol... so please bear with me...

- Wedding Gown
I. The Designer (VeeJay Floresca)
i think it would really be fabulous if my wedding gown will be design by Veejay Floresca, a young and very promising fashion designer and was tagged by various fashion magazine as one of the "top designer to watch for". I started to love this designer's work when on one boring evening, I switch on our tv and able to watched an episode of Project Runway Philippines. I was dumbfounded by his beautiful and elegantly made designs from then on, I constantly sees to it, that i watched every episode of the show. Owing to his vision and talent he was able to make it to the top three and even though he did not win he actually captured the hearts of alot of Filipinas including mine.
2nd option hmm Rajo Laurel or Frederick Peralta.. haiz let the dreams begin
II. The Design
Redundant as may seem , I will still faithfully settle for the traditional white wedding gown. I got the idea of the design when i bought a back issue of Metro Weddings (the cover was Cheska Garcia). the design i am envisioning was a tiered layer ball skirt with a petal like applique bolero jacket and a very long extended terrain. I am aiming for comfort without compromising the elegance, i wanted to create a dreamy and dramatic allure with my gown.
The shoes i would love to have a a white satin peep toe hells with a little rhinestone on the center adding a sexual look lol.

- Groom's Suit
a three piece ensemble, will definitely transform timo into a dashing groom. A black suit, vest and pants plus a white pleated shirt will complete my grooms aim for classic look. We'll decide to divert to the traditional Filipino pina tailored Barong, because the contrasting white and black will make the ceremony more dramatic.

- Wedding Entourage (color them will be wine colored/burgundy)
I. Bridesmaid
a burgundy tube full skirt with tiered layers and a silver ankle straps heels entrusted with stones will be a good fit for my sisters and my closest colleague/friend Karen.

II. Groom's Men/ Ring Bearer
A black suites with a plump color necktie will definitely compliment the bridesmaid dresses
III. Flower Girls
a Burgundy bubble taffeta dresses with silver ballet flats will be perfect fit for the event.
- Bride's Bouquet
picturing a grand wedding even as a kid, I always see myself holding a tulip bouquet. Timo even marvels upon my fascination about tulips. honestly i can't explain why i am so thrilled about the idea of tulips as my bouquet still i would choose tulips be it on my "what if" wedding or during the real one.
- its a wedding destination (kasi may kunya kunyari akong pera LOL)
its a close fight between Boracay and Bohol, but considering my desire to have a solemn and private wedding... Boracay being a highly commercialized and publicized vacay spot, Bohol is the obvious choice. Personally, a wedding in Bohol would never be perfect unless it is spent in the uber fab and perfect Bohol Beach Club (BBC). the long stretched of pristine white sand coupled with a the wide array of coconut backdrop, its definitely the perfect venue for a beach wedding. I first came to know BBC when i was trying to research about Bohol for a bday vacation. Even if I only saw photos of BBC at their site, i instantly fell in love with the place especially with the gazebos by the beach . During that time timo being the thrifty one, was against the idea of spending our 3days2night vacation at BBC since it is more expensive compared to the other hotels in the place. So him being the alpha male emerged victorious with our discussion and we ended up spending it along Alona Beach.
- Wedding Cake
i am a certified red ribbon freak. Whenever I request for a pasalubong from timo, it's like a snap of a finger and automatically a bag of red ribbon goodies would be present once he reached home. and being a part of our love story, it is most essential to have this sweet factory create our wedding cake.
"whatever the celebration its more beautiful with red ribbon"--- the slogan says it all, and standing with that, red ribbon tandemed with countries top couturiers and made RR's Designer Cake by Frederick Peralta and Rajo Laurel.
i am so digging's Rajo Laurel's design/creation of wedding cake. The exquisite crafted wedding sweets is inspired by one of the most glamorous and elegant gowns. And standing to their name Red Ribbon plus Rajo Laurel equals perfection.
- Wedding Photographers
a wedding photographer based in Boracay, well known for its relaxed yet dramatic strategy of immortalizing each emotions captured in every frame. Being a master of destination/beach wedding says it all no questions ask.
